Washington DC Laser Jammer Laws
 Some sources report that laser jammers are illegal in Washington DC. However, while we located a Washington DC law prohibiting radar jamming, this law does not mention laser specifically, nor does it refer to all speed measurement devices in a general sense (like some laws in other states do). So, one might conclude that this law is restricted to radar only, and that laser jammers are not covered and are therefore legal. You be the judge. Source: DC Municipal Regulations, Title 18, Chapter 7 736 RADAR DETECTORS AND JAMMERS 736.1 No person shall sell or offer for sale in the District any device designed to detect or counteract police radar. 736.2 No person shall use or have in his possession in an automobile in the District any device used to detect or counteract police radar. 736.3 This section does not apply to any vehicle or equipment used by the Armed Forces of the United States.
